there is someone else's smile
draped across your shoulders
the newest item in the summer collection
of love still new to the touch
and it suits you
happiness suits you
you wear it well
and i have never heard you
laugh this much before
and there are bruises shaped like her teeth
arranged artfully on your collarbones
like your skin is a bowl
and hickeys are a fruit
and this is all just set-up
for someone else's still-life painting
except you are thrumming
with the energy of her smile
and you are anything but still
and the sound of her voice saying your name
like a prayer or a plea or some new profanity
is lodged in your throat
tinting everything you say a shade of happy
i have never seen on you before
and there is someone else's smile
draped across your shoulders
and you move like it has always been there
and i'm forgetting what you look like without it
and it suits you
happiness suits you

The Sun in One
Your warmth?
More worth than all the sunsets in the world,
the strength of a marching army, the rhythm your heart, the gentleness of a lone feather.
A smile enveloping fears and dreams with hope,
a touch pillowed by words,
every breath of the atmosphere, an air we share, to be shared.
Convincing a kiss deep in my soul to stay,
begging to remember and to be remembered.
Every word has no shame,
never giving others blame.
Calming with every element,
no condescending, always delicate.
The same one who's here,
too good to not be ending.
You're too warm to forget me,
so at the crossroads I stay.
The trains are racing, tracks buckling.
The lights

Fly or Fall in 'Skydive: Proximity Flight'
I approached writing this review with some haste and delay. You see, as a very open-minded gamer with a strong focus on indie games, it pains me when I come across a generally reasonably-reviewed indie game that I simply didn't enjoy - even more-so if I have to review that game based on a free review key.
Skydive: Proximity Flight, developed by Gaijin Entertainment and released on the digital stores of the PlayStation 3/Xbox 360, is a skydiving game that sees you freefalling from the sky in a wingsuit in various game modes. It's a somewhat unusual concept that really piqued my interest when I was contacted about it and watched the trailer, b

meteor shower
Looking up at the night sky alone, I saw a comet.... Though it appeared and vanished in a second i knew that this is how my life works..... we are here for just a second and then we disappear... only to be seen by the ones that are wanting to watch... the ones that care to notice... the ones that matter.... overall of life we tend to be just small comets in each others life.... but i want to be more.... i want to be not one in a meteor shower... but the whole meteor shower itself.... so amazing and so dazzling that people will talk about it for years to come.... don't let your life become a lone comet.... shoot to be a meteor shower...
